Staff is very, very friendly. The campsites are run down and in need of maintenance. When KOA took over- I was super excited. However, no positive changes have been made to the camp sites. They have grass growing in the camping area and most of the gravel has washed away. Some of the wooden railings are rotten and have nails protruding. Only noticeable change is the large price increase.

Very beautiful campsite, on the water. Was like having a balcony overlooking the lake. Had our own stairs down to water. Every thing was nice and clean, quiet area. Staff was very attentive and seemed to appreciate having us as guest (customer). We will visit again, really nice experience

The only downside was golf carts with young kids still driving around & around the loops after midnight all weekend long.

Made it in from New Orleans KOA at 8:30pm dog tired after a 12.5 hr drive. Your KOA is beautiful and rustic like we like. We'd love to come back when we can stay longer than an overnight stop and my husband can fish his heart out and our big lab can sniff and swim to her hearts content. Thank you for all your help for our after hours check in. KOA's are always top notch in our book. Susan Smith

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because of the bathrooms. We were on the lake, which was perfect, but the bathrooms were not easy to find. There didn’t seem to be a clearly marked path.We saw one sign and then kinda lost the direction and felt like we were walking thru tent sites, thankfully they were not occupied.The map really wasn’t that great. Great waterside campsites. Access roads are narrow for big rigs. Tough to weave and avoid tree branches and stay on pavement.

Site 4 was not suitable for a 37ft unit, washout on side of drive, too steep. No hot water in lower bath house, tried multiple times during day/night, upper bath house had hot water. Pretty location, but needs upgrades sooner than later.

This was our second visit and we plan to be back. The accommodations and location is beautiful and the staff were gracious and helpful.

This was our first time ever at a KOA and WOW is all I have to say! Setting the bar high for every KOA in America. Beautiful campgrounds and the staff members were so nice and friendly. Hands down would come back to stay and recommend.

We had a great stay! Our site was clean and had lots of space. The kids had a blast on their bikes and walking the trails. Our camper is 38’ fifth wheel with slide-outs on both sides. We fit fine on site 13. If you aren’t good at backing/parking a camper, you may have issues here. Internet does not work in this area, so we used our phone hotspot for TV. We will definitely stay here again!

Everything was good except our neighbors were loud till about 1 or 2 in the morning had people coming and going on motorcycles, blocking the roads, playing load music and hollering and night.would be better if the rules were in-forced.at least we had walls and a tv to turn up but the poor people in a tent had to listen to it all night!

Even though the campsites are very close together, it was very quiet. We had a great time except for the kids that were turned loose on golf carts that about ran our dog over. The only other complaint is, there's absolutely no parking at certain sites other than the vehicle that you pull your trailer with. We will be back, just at a different site with more parking.

This was our first time visiting. Our big family had such a wonderful time. My parents stayed beside us they had a huge tree stump in their driveway so it was difficult getting their camper in/out. I wish there were more activities for the kids to do. Over all we loved our stay and will be visiting again very soon.

We always enjoy our stay here. Plenty of roads to walk, good long hiking trail to the boat launch, and the roads are flat enough for the little kids to ride bikes and scooters. For us it's far enough to be a road trip, but not so far it turns into headache. Staff are always friendly and helpful. We'll be back again.
