Small but very nice camp place! Love the nature around us! Staffs at the front desk were super nice! We would come back again! Their pizzas were pretty good! Pool was not open when we were there but my kids played the games there.

Overall a very nice stay. Facilities were clean and staff was very friendly. Tent sites could have used a little cleanup prior to use.

Very nice place but we did not use any amenities such as pool, laundry; just tent and electric so $60 For one night seems like a lot.

The campground is well maintained, everything is always clean, the staff members are all very nice, we stayed for a week on an electric tent site and loved it.

Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley KOA is set in a beautiful location. The campground is well maintained and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I look forward to visiting again.

The customer service was amazing-five star-perfect, the amenities were great, the bathrooms were so clean with really great showers. The campsite itself was disappointing. It felt like we were camping at the front door to the camp ground. Just a very busy spot and hard to sleep through the traffic noise beside the tent and vehicles idling beside the store while they checked in. Better for RV

My wife, our two dogs, and I stayed at the tent sites. We loved how clean, peaceful, and how close the campgrounds were to many site seeing locations. We will definitely return for another stay.

why would you build tent sites you can’t drive stakes into? if you like loud gravel parking lots you will love this place. 2 stars: one for clean bathrooms and one for not getting robbed while i slept.

This is one of the nicest KOAs Ive had the privilege to stay at. Great, clean campground, friendly service, and plenty of amenities for a great price.

I had a great experience tent camping. The bathrooms were well kept and warm. The firewood was fairly inexpensive compared to a lot of other places I stayed. Overall a very good experience!

Great camp site, Halloween activities were really fun. It's definitely on the expensive side of camping though, the wood really adds up. Additionally, the fishing pond seemed kinda dead - maybe they just weren't biting. We'll be back next year though the kids love it and the location is perfect.

The staff there are very friendly and accommodating. Facilities were clean, trash was picked up daily from your site, also I ordered pizza from the camp store that was delivered to my site. I will definitely return in the future

The WiFi was not good where we were staying and the location is out of the way from where we were going. There was no warning that the primitive sites would be decorated for Halloween and a hayride would be going through. Otherwise the workers were very nice, facility was very clean and dog park was a nice addition. We enjoyed the stay.

The staff were all so kind and helpful and just made our stay that much better. The weather was not the best but what activities that were offered and the convenience of everything made up for everything. We will be back.

We have enjoyed Harrisonburg/Shenandoah Valley KOA for several years. We appreciate that tent sites are highly maintained as well as what we observe of the rv sites. Personnel are always helpful, happy and engaging. Being a neat freak, I appreciate the bathrooms are always immaculate. We highly recommend to friends and family.

The KOA is a few miles off the interstate so it is very quiet at night. Paved road all the way to the campgrounds. The trees and terrain have the feel of a national forest. Very clean.

I am not an experienced camper; this was my first car camping experience. It was great. The KOA made the experience very easy. The campsite met specifications. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The bathroom/shower facilities were excellent and very clean. There was a nice hiking path. I would gladly stay there again.

Great! We had 3 campsites for 4 families, and it was nice, other than the mosquitoes. The boys opted for another tent for one night of a three night stay, and the camp was quick to charge (and overcharge) us for that tent. I had to call to rectify the overcharge part. It would have been nicer to not have the charge at all, since we paid for 3 nights and only stayed for 2 nights.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Labor Day weekend trip! This campground is clean and the staff is friendly and very responsive! Our family of 5 had a nice, quiet tent site that was a close walk to the lodge and all of the amenities. We enjoyed the pool, disc golf, cornhole, giant checkers and the hiking trail! The extra activities for the holiday weekend were great! We’ll definitely be back!

We were only there one night but found it to be a really nice place. Like most campsites it was more accommodating to RVers but they had a good amount of tent sites too. One annoyance was that they only had one bathroom that was some distance away from the tent area. That being said, the bathrooms were spacious, clean, and had nice showers too. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was great, I can't say enough about how friendly the staff were. They were flexible with the site we wanted to select, delivered us firewood a couple times and offered us lots of goodies. I appreciate when people are nice, it makes things a million times better!

We really enjoyed our stay! We utilized one of your tent camp sites and liked where it was situated, a little tucked away from the RVs/Trailers. We didn't notice the spigot access closer to our site until we noticed the very small icon on the map. When we went to use it, the spigot was turned at a small angle and leaked so it was difficult to use. I would suggest maybe marking it at the site.

The campground is in a lovely setting. The staff/owners are very nice and very helpful. Everything was clean and in good repair. The pool is a nice size and they have some really nice playground equipment for the kids. I couldn't ask for a better place to stay!

This is our third stay at this KOA. It's peaceful, quiet, family oriented, well managed and clean. Children seem to have a great time. Manager, Delaine does her job well. The staff is friendly, approachable, respectful and hard working. They work to help you solve any problem (if possible), or take care of any reasonable need - if you ask. You can reach a real human being on the phone to help you make the best choices when reserving online if you have particular needs. Again, within reason. Excellent handling of emergencies - there was a severe storm coming and staff quickly rode to sites to warn campers and give instructions. When a power line was knocked out, informative texts were sent to communicate with campers. Every effort was made to accommodate campers without power. Rules are reasonable and enforced with kindness and respect. We were visiting our neighbors around a campfire past quiet hour and a very nice young man came to let us know we needed to be mindful of other campers. Oops. Absolutely! Another thing: We tend to arrive earlier than the check in time. I called ahead of time about this and asked. Could we check in earlier or park somewhere and bide our time. I was told we can check in earlier, if the campsite was empty and cleaned up, but there would be a fee. We are willing to pay this fee and to abide by the rules and here's why: Two camp workers were interrupted from their usual tasks to accommodate our request. These workers are very busy. No well managed campground could accommodate people coming and going willy-nilly and do their regular chores.

We had the most amazing trip in our travel trailer. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Delivered firewood to our campsite, collected trash after hours, and even spoiled our son on the Hey-ey ride. We had such a great time and plan to come back to visit in the fall. We were spoiled with the on-site pizza place and they delivered right to our site! The pool was so warm and the bathrooms were very clean. We especially loved that the rv checkout time was 12p so we could enjoy one last dip in the pool before heading out. Only downsides to the trip was that the roads were not bike friendly so our son wasn't able to ride very much. Site 21 did have honey bees living in a box near the road but they did not bother us and we are not allergic.

Great campgrounds, stay here everytime WE are driving by on 81 ,usually stay 4 orc5 days . Staff goes out of their way to please you .
