we stayed in the 500 sections and found it to be too close to the other trailers, back to back. all employees are extremely friendly and helpful., enjoyed the tiki bar, and music, but found the cost of the drinks way too costly for the quality. beaches very relaxing, sunsets truly amazing.

We stay 5/23/24 thru 5/28/24 site 504 Enjoyable time wasn’t thrilled how close the campers were back to back opened shade n people were laughter there. Pool was extremely well maintained n clean beach area was nice too. Except garbage should be emptied often piles on either side on stairs going up to Sunset grill … not sure if that’s restaurants responsibility. If I came again but diff sit

Our visit was during the Memorial Day weekend so it was crowded but the sites had plenty of space !

Overall it was good however they were so busy due to the holiday weekend that they ran out of water in the well and we had no water for our RV. There was still one bath house accessible during this time however the day we left we had no water access which means i could not clean out my tanks or anything before leaving which caused a lot of extra work after a weekend away

We had a blast, until the last full day. On Sunday there was no water at our site and still none Monday morning when we left. If it wasn't for this, I would be giving top marks.

We stay at the Cape Charles KOA often ... This was the 1st memorial day. Even with a full camp ground the staff was wonderful and the entire site well maintained.

Stayed here for memorial day weekend 2024 and this place really delivered on fun, accommodations, really clean swimming pool very clean and fresh bathrooms and showers they also have a restaurant and bar that has delicious gourmet food, I had the rodeo smash burger that came with cheese and 2 onion rings on top with BBQ sauce on a brioche bun it was prefect and prices were very very reasonable!!!

We stayed over memorial day weekend, and had great fun, the bay is awesome, loved the restaurant just felt that the opening should be before noon, and may be earlier than Friday memorial day weekend.. campground was packed, there could have been a bit more enforcement for quiet time as screaming kids after 12.30 AM. Mosquito's were a bit of a hassle. Overall we are planning to come back.

Unfortunately it was too busy , and I know it was memorial weekend. The site needs to be sprayed. We were bitten to death by insects. The staff however are the best ever. Super friendly and helpful. They could not have done more for us.

The ladies running the activities were amazing, and the check in process was amazing and the staff doing check ins were amazing. We had a three night stay and on the last night there was a water main break so half the campground lost water. We were told by the general manager that we would not have water until the next day. There was no offer of compensation for this inconvenience.

Been coming here for 8-10 years! Staff is amazing- friendly and helpful! Absolutely love the new tiki bar on the deck! Live music is the best! Wasn't crazy about the comedian a d musician 2 years ago when we stayed in hotel. Finally got another travel trailer and look forward to coming back soon to my favorite campground!!

Beautiful resort, nice staff while they are there. But no security and rules are not enforced by campers who have no camping etiquette. Quiet time rules not enforced. Rude disrespectful camping neighbors, playing loud music all night , shining headlight all hours of the night, forced us to cut our trip short. First time using a KOA and not impressed by the lack staff available after 8 pm.

Staff are friendly and super helpful. Even though the camp was packed, we felt at peace and the beach and amenities were easy to use and kids had the time of their lives!

The beach was covered in debris, and trash. The hotel on the property had open doors that looked like something from a horror movie. We did enjoy the event staff. As well as the staff at the store. The store was well stocked and everyone there was friendly. We were charged four times for our reservation, which still hasn’t been resolved yet. Water went out on Sunday night.

We do apologize for the inconvenience of the water and for the extra charges. We had a main break and our third-party credit card company had issues.

Was very disappointed as the beach needed to be racked of old bamboo type material which I tripped over and fell down. I understand preserving vegetation but this was by the water line and not sea weed. As well as the wooden walkway entrance was closed to campers and instructed to use a steep sand dune hill to go up and down, or a wooden palate driveway you all used for your tractor. No water too!

We are sorry you did not have a great experience. The weather leading up to the weekend made a mess of our beach. The wooden walkway was built specifically for the tractor and is not safe for guests. A main pipe broke, and we had no choice but to shut off the water to half the park at 6pm on Sunday.

Best stay of all. We have been camping for about 4 years now, and by far the nicest people working. Hats off to Dan. He went above and beyond. We already booked our next visit. See you all soon.

The campground was spotless, folks were great, store was well stocked, especially ice cream. Pool looked great but was not open. The beach area was fantastic

No pool, restaurant or tiki bar open and in my opinion as well as other campers it was expensive for no amenities except the main office area. Grass was fairly high and it seemed that being it was only a few days away from Memorial Day maintenance had been put on the back burner. Plants dead, white tent covering the outside bar was filthy and the deck needed some attention as well.

We are sorry you did not have a great experience. Our pool opened on the 23rd. Our maintenance staff works diligently on getting the grass cut and the sites weeded. Our welcome center is surrounded by beautiful red roses. We are sorry you missed the palm trees. They arrived on the 21st.

Easy access. Grateful for the parking assistance! Site was reinforced grass matting, stable power and easy hookups. The pool area had clean bathrooms and the KOA had an EXCELLENT store. Messy weather precluded use of amenities and events but we want to come back!

The lady was very nasty in golf cart to us about trash we left out front of camper like paper says do very unprofessional!! I don’t know who she is but needs fired don’t talk to people like that when paper says trash at site neatly in bag as we did!!!

Our stay at Cape Charles was incredible. We had the most amazing campsite with a beautiful sunset view! The shower house and laundry rooms were so clean and well kept! We will definitely be coming back!
