Had multiple issues and am waiting on the response from the General Manager. The major issue was that we stayed in the most expensive location and had no Wi-Fi during bad weather (5 of 7 Days)

We stayed in a vacaton suite in the main building. It was nice to have a kitchen that was well-equipped and the deck was very nice. One problem was that the positioning of the refrigerator made it impossible to open the door all the way and difficult to get foods in and out. It was convenient to be able to stay in the campground while other family members were at a campsite. Staff were friendly.

Large campground with accommodations from basic tent camping to large RVs. Perfect for families. Kids have many options for play. Outdoor pool is not heated, but spacious with plenty of seating on the patio.

Disappointing lodging. The deluxe cabin needed attention and was way overpriced for the condition it was in. The kitchen utinsels were lacking and one half of the cooktop would not heat enough to cook on it.

It was amazing! I came here for a birthday trip and the KOA exceeded my expectations. There was so much to do on site that it felt like our own little resort. Everything was always clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful!

We had the most incredible 5 days in our cabin. We met so many nice families all there for their first time. I wish the larger rustic cabins had a dorm fridge like the smaller rustic cabins have. The hot tub was hot, but the jets weren’t working.

I've stayed at the Cape Hatteras KOA several times over the last few years. The cabins are nice and the staff is amazing. I look forward to my next visit.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Our Vacation Suite was very nice, linens very clean, mattresses extremely comfortable, and had everything that we needed. Our only complaint was that the floors had definitely not been washed and were extremely dirty. But, will come back again, hoping they will do a better job on the floors.

We rented an ocean front deluxe cabin, a corner suite in the main building overlooking the pool and a deluxe pet friendly cabin for a family reunion weekend. The ocean front cabin was super super cute and the view was incredible! Our corner suite was great, just perfect for entertaining the group. The pet friendly cabin was also super cute. All were super clean and had all the amenities needed.

I would recommend putting lights on the bottom of the stairs or under the carport on the deluxe oceanview cabins so that when you're coming back late it's easier to see. The hot tub was down which was a little disappointing because it was to cold and windy to jump in the pool and the hot tub would have been perfect! And utensils in the ocean front cabins would be nice. Overall we had a great stay!

What a wonderful surprise the Cape Hatteras KOA resort was to us! The staff greeted us with enthusiasm, the accommodations were so cozy and from the 3rd floor we could see the beach. Our two days of rest and relaxation were perfect for finishing our trip. We can't wait to go back and spend more time there!

Loved our cabin. It was immaculate and had everything we needed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Great location. This was our first time to the Outer Banks and we hope to come back again sometime, and when we do, it will be here at KOA Cape Hatteras.

The staff was friendly and accomodating. Our kids always love the aminities that KOA has to offer. I was VERY satisfied with the vacation rental we booked. I will 100% be spending future spring breaks at the Cape Hatteras KOA!

You don't clean the bathrooms. The bathrooms were constantly full of mud and hair, toilets clogged. I never saw one staff cleaning. Also sand would be much more preferred over the level of mud. Some staff were quite rude.

We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins. We have a Sr. Dog who has difficulty with stairs so the long ramp was perfect and he deck gave him a place to hang out! Kitchen was well-equipped and cabin was very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much—the only problem was that we couldn’t stay longer! Thank you for all you do to make KOA campgrounds such great places!

Love this campground. My only complaint is that we rented a deluxe cabin for $290/nt and the shower fitting was Jerry rigged and was almost impossible to turn on. They had a part on back order. This was disappointing, as we spent lots of money per night for a shower that didn’t work. The hot tub was also closed. Aside from those hiccups, it is a great location and campground full of ameniti
