Here at the Calcutta/West Point KOA, we are centrally located for many activities. We have several golf courses within minutes that offer a variety of terrains at great prices. Outdoor activities close by include Beaver Creek Pioneer Village and Mill, Little Beaver Creek Nature Center, Hellbender Bluff County Park, and the largest open air market in the tri-state area, Rogers Flea Market are just up the road! A Craft Soda shop, together with several Wineries and Breweries, share their tasty concoctions with you, so pick your flavors and sip away! Our county's Amish Farm Markets offer a steadfast variety of fresh produce and homemade treats as well! Plus, many local family-owned Food establishments offer tasty renditions of tried-and-true local favorites! Our county offers ample Festivals including the Johnny Appleseed Festival, Shaker Woods Festival not to mention the Columbiana County Fair... just to name a few. If a night at the casino is in the cards for you, then cross the river and head to the Mountaineer Casino and Raceway -- it's just about a 30-minute drive away. Our area is full of quality clay, so you can stop at the Homer Laughlin/Fiestaware Factory Outlet located in Newell, West Virginia and collect a piece of prime pottery in a color that will match your shopping spirit! There are many places to go and become (if only briefly) part of our mid-western hillside heritage in the Heart of it All! We hope you enjoy the quaintness and simplicity of the place we call home.

Rogers Flea Market is the largest Flea Market in the Tri-State area!!! It is open EVERY FRIDAY from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. In Season adds a monthly Saturday to accommodate visiting marketeers! Come for the Farm Market, the produce, baked goods, meats, cheeses, new and 'vintage' items and more!! This museum host the largest display of Lotus Ware (the piece de resistance) in the pottery world. They also house a 170-year old 'Great Wheel' (potter's wheel), one of only six in the United States! Displays of pottery tools, dinnerware and other ceramic items. Plus, over 200 pieces of fine bone china, called Lotus Ware, made in the 1890s and is considered the creme'de'la'creme pieces that completes the Potter's tale. In their gift shop (the Clay Shop) the have jewelry made from pottery shards available.
