Seldovia

Seldovia

Directly across the bay from the RV park, there is an indentation in the coastline.  That is where Seldovia is located.  It is a small, historical Alaskan town.  It was actually the main town before WW2.  The 1964 earthquake did a lot of damage to the boardwalk which is still there to walk around on.

We like to go over there every year. The transportation is mainly small vehicles, ATV's, golf carts or walking.

The main street is walkable, with places to eat and some fun gift shops.

To go there, you can take a plane, water taxi, Seldovia Ferry, or take a wildlife tour and stop in Seldovia for lunch.

It is a fun and peaceful day.
